2 Minute Toddler Chinese Food

Lately, I've been searching for new out-of-the-box ideas to feed the triplets. They love eating Chinese food on the occasion we take them to our wonderful buffet in town. (It's rated one of the top 100 for the nation and has TONS of healthy choices). I've often thought about making sushi for them, but that's a bigger project than I'm willing to start. So here's to my two minute toddler Chinese food.

First off use your frozen meatball leftovers. One part cranberry sauce (jellied or whole) and one part chili sauce. Use an ice-scream scoop to dig out about two scoops worth and set aside.

Then, retrieve your new stir fry with noddles frozen vegetable bag from the freezer. Wal-Mart and Kroger/Smith's are both carrying these now for about $1. They contain, broccoli, red pepper, celery, red pepper, mushrooms, onion and carrots to name a few.

Place the bags contents in a microwave safe bowl and fill with water till all parts are covered. You can also add a few pieces of frozen chicken pieces at this point as well. I use an off brand, but Tyson makes them as well. They come in strips or diced pieces. I am currently buying the diced pieces, which are about one inch pieces.

Cook on high for two minutes in the microwave.

Next drain the water and add the cranberry sauce mix.

Cook on high for another two minutes and you have yourself.

Toddler Chinese food!

I added a rainbow fruit stick here as well :)

With chicken added to the mix and cheese and cantaloupe on the side!

And this is what it looks like when I refrigerate and/or freeze using this method!

Grocery List:
Frozen Stir Fry
Chili Sauce
Cranberry Sauce
Frozen Chicken

Cheese

Here's a few pictures of the triplets enjoying their dinner tonight!
